Chicago April 24 - 29, 2009

Sachin was such a champ on the plane, both to & from Chicago. On the way there, he slept the whole way, but on the way back he was wide awake for the take off (asleep for the landing). Tata was here in Toronto, waiting to pick us up and take us home.

While Daddy was at the Conference, Sachin and I spent a lot of time walking, walking, walking. The Magnificent Mile, Millenium Park and Grant Park where where we spent most of our time. Pix to follow...

Today, we had a lovely visit with Meera and Sachin Sharma.

On Friday, Sachin got a beautiful drawing from his friend Noah. He loves it :-)

Hanging out outside

It was 18oC yesterday, and Sachin, Andrew and I sat outside on the deck for the first time as as family. Sachin was mesmerized by all the sights and sounds.

Rattle fun

Sachin is now interacting with the rattles in his play yard! He batted at the sunshine rattle about 8-9 times this morning...I think it was on purpose.

With Tata

Sachin is getting more alert every day. Tata's been waiting patiently for Sachin to play with him.

Weigh in

Today Sachin had his 1 month appointment with the Pediatrician. He weighed in at 11 lbs 12 oz (a gain of 3 lbs 9 oz in 4 weeks!) and 22" long. Unfortunately, he also showed Dr. Peer what his lungs are made of.

Birthday / Easter at Tata & Lola's

Here is Sachin in his birthday threads. You'll notice that Daddy decided to dress like him.

Sachin had 2 birthday cakes and a very special Easter egg. After dinner he was so exhausted that he just wanted to cuddle with
Lola.

Sleepless in Toronto

Sleeping is always best when I'm in someone's arms.
When I'm in my bassinet, I protest quite emphatically!

April 9th pix

I love my overalls that Maya Auntie bought me, but I'm such little butter ball that I've grown out of them already. This is the last day I was able to wear them.

One month!

Can't believe my boy is 1 month old today. I got on the scale with Sachin and he weighed in at 10.9 lbs!

We're off to Lola & Tata's for Easter dinner and looking forward to Skyping with Maya Auntie and Alan Uncle.
